I love the architectural details of the old buildings found in Europe. I’m fascinated as I gaze upon them thinking about what historic figures have also known these beautiful buildings as a part of their day-to-day lives. I think about the struggles and conflicts the people of the time were experiencing as these buildings stood strong around them. The details crafted are unlike anything we apply to our own structures today. I’m thankful there is still so much around that we can appreciate as we move forward through the new world we have today.
